Before
After
Okay, they weren't really that bad. I just forgot to take a before picture.
Anyway my headlights look better now, and my OCD isn't destroying me.

I like doing headlights. It's one of the few detailing things I still enjoy doing.

Teach me your ways. I can't get mine to the perfection I want.

I use 2000 grit to sand them, then I wheel first with compound then with polish.

I guess I went overkill. 600,1000,2000. My da was too big to use. I ended up reusing a drill bit attachment I had laying around. The only compound I had was the turtle wax stuff in the flat can. Destroyed the foam attachment. Ended up ghetto rigging a microfiber over it to use some 3m headlight polish to finish.
How do you seal? I tried the Minwax spar urethane aerosol the time before. Made my driver headlight look perfect, had a weird finish on the passenger. Both ended up coming off at the wash.

I never seal lol. Easier to just redo it when it hazes up again. And having a proper buffer certainly helps. It's an invaluable tool for me.

I guess I can sleep a little easier now.
You mind detailing the rest for me? It's almost all clayed for you.
